I added two 8" inspection ports and reinforced the areas with 1/2" plywood. Once this was done I painted the topsides with Interlux Brightside paint. I installed the ports, coaming, rub rails and misc fittings and she was ready to go. I used 3M 5200 caulk to seal all penetrations.
